Mohamed Alawdan is a seasoned Food & Beverages mentor with more than 20 years of hands-on experience managing multi-site, multi-brand operations across hotels, airline in-flight catering, contract catering, restaurant chains, and central food production units in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE.
A results-oriented professional, Mohamed is known for driving profitability through strong commercial acumen, people development, and operational excellence. His career spans senior leadership roles with globally recognized organizations, including Saudi Airlines Catering Company and IKEA Saudi Arabia, as well as managing large-scale catering projects and restaurant operations serving thousands of guests daily. He has successfully led the operation of central production kitchens delivering over 10,000 meals per day, high-capacity restaurants with more than 950 seats, and multiple QSR and casual dining openings.
Mohamed holds both a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management (Very Good with Honors) and a Higher Diploma in Hotel Management & Tourism (First Class Honors). He is a Certified Internal Quality Auditor (ISO 9001) with deep expertise in ISO 22000, HACCP, food safety systems, menu engineering, and RFP and project feasibility studies.
